-Work in partnership with the District to advance opportunities for children with special educational needs.

-Provide a forum for parents, guardians and educators of children with special educational needs to share and exchange information and resources.

-Act as a liaison between schools, families and the community for the benefit of children with special educational needs.

Through our group we hope to improve communication between school and families; increase awareness and understanding of Special Educational Services and the process; and share best practices among schools, families, and the community by reaching out to all, with speakers, literature, Internet resources and social meetings.
